Entertee do event production for JLS on Sky One TV show…
Entertee productions were asked to help make an episode of the Sky One television programme ‘Noels Christmas Present’ a reality when they were asked to do the site logistics for an episode of the show.
Noels Christmas Present, which was the highest rating satellite programme of the festive period last year, is a show where Noel Edmunds gifts a “money cannot buy” experience to reward people who go above and beyond the call of duty to help others less fortunate, and who may, by no fault of their own, not have a great Christmas this year.
Entertee’s involvement was with a very touching story of 3 sisters ages 13, 12 and 9, the youngest of which was diagnosed with leukemia aged 2 and following years of chemo and radiotherapy was told the only way to save her life was to have a bone marrow transplant. After the whole family was tested the oldest sister proved to be a perfect match and underwent the painful procedure to donate the lifesaving marrow to her sister. The middle sister has promised to donate her eggs to her little sister who is now fertile after years of treatment, so she has the chance to have children when she is older. Noel Edmunds felt that these inspirational and remarkably close little girls deserved a special Christmas, which included a stay in a 5 star London hotel, a celebrity makeover, a magical skating experience and culminated in a private JLS concert in their back garden when they returned home.
It was this private concert that entertee were asked to help with and provided the stage, lighting and PA for the television production company Twofour. This proved to be a very challenging job logistically, as the garden is only 6m wide and the stage and equipment needed to be maneuvered carefully into place to fit into the space available.
Gill Tee MD of entertee said "We are very proud to be a part of this special event and to loan our services to such a good and worthwhile cause, and the family involved were a real joy to work with."
Tammy Calow the production manager from Twofour said “entertee have been a wonder to work with and we can’t thank you all enough for everything. ”
This programme with air on Sky One on 20th December.
