Christmas Snow Falls on London’s Portman Square……

The theme for this year’s Berkeley Square Ball, held for the first time this year at London’s Portman Square, was a “Winter in New York City”. Designer Shawn Clarkson and team did a superb job of setting the scene and really brought a wintery “Central Park feel” to the marquee based event. Mark Pate from WAAP provided the all the marquees which were dressed to bring the Square to life with original Festive flair. Flakes of real snow were created by an innovative snow making machine and made this event the ideal start to the festive party season.

The entertee production team worked hard to ensure the fifth Annual BSquareB Event went without a hitch, and made certain the wintery feel to the event coincided with a warm, friendly and professional atmosphere throughout the event. The local council was very supportive, and the fantastic relationship forged by entertee productions and their hard work and professional attitude assured there were no concerns raised. AP  provided the security and staff where impeccably turned out in dinner jackets, while stage staff worked invisibly to guarantee the evening entertainment ran seamlessly and to schedule.

Sophia Pasetti, BSquareB Producer and Executive Director said, "The entertee team are fantastic, a core part in our own team and were undoubtedly pivotal in the success of this event. Their ethic and hard work throughout helped to ensure BSquareB was the perfect start to the festive season and that the new location of Portman Square was a triumph. ”

Gill Tee, the Production Director and MD of entertee productions said she was “Delighted with how well the event ran at its new location and can’t thank Portman Square Estate enough for their support with this event. And of course, a massive thank you to our fantastic team who made this event run so smoothly. ”

Guests, who included rock super-couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, were greeted with a cocktail reception courtesy of Nobu Berkeley and a champagne bar provided by Tattinger.  Pre-dinner drinks were followed by entertainment from Ruth Lorenzo and guests were treated to gastronomic delights provided by Giogio Locatelli. Anna Friel and her husband David Thewlis both arrived breathless, straight from the West End stage after her performance in Breakfast at Tiffanys. The social elite of London were entertained by Welsh singer Rhydian Roberts and the evening’s entertainment was finished off with the more classical feel of Paul Potts.

All guests left thanking the staff for providing a wonderful evening, and all in aid of the Princes Trust.
