London Feis Festival hailed a success
The London Feis Festival was extremely well received by the media and public alike.
After a 7 year break the Fleadh Festival was re-branded and re-launched as London Feis and returned to Finsbury Park to be headlined by Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Thin Lizzy.
Despite the rain the festival had a fantastic atmosphere and Dylan's set finished with 3 classic crowd pleasing hits. Thin Lizzy bought the show to a close with an energy filled set and proved the new line-up works as well as the old.
The festival consisted of three stages, the smallest of which supported some emerging talent such as the superb Steve Smythe. Stage 2 hosted impressive sets from Shane McGowan and Imela May.
The diverse line up meant there was something on the bill to cater for all tastes and age ranges.
Festival Director Gill Tee said;
Local Authorities were very supportive and we had a great crew on board which really did make all the difference to the festival.
The entire festival crew worked tirelessly to ensure the event was well received.
